Clare have less than a week to prepare for their Oscar Traynor cup final next Sunday after seeing off the challenge of defending champions Cork in Turners Cross yesterday.
Clare’s hero on the day was captain David Russell who headed David Mc carthy’s corner into the net on the stroke of half time.
Clare will now face Wexford next Sunday at the county grounds in Doora after they beat the Defense forces 3-1 in their semi final
