Newmarket-On-Fergus’ camogie captain is hopeful 2021 is the year the side can put their difficulties in finals behind them and claim the McMahon Cup.

Brian Enright’s side have now been defeated in five finals in a row, the latest of which was a defeat to Inagh-Kilnamona back in September.

Laura McMahon, who’s Clare senior intercounty captain, is hoping to transfer her fortunes from the Banner’s setup into next year’s club campaign.
