KIlmurray IBrickane and St Senans Kilkee to contest county football final.

Kilmurray Ibrickane and St Senans Kilkee will contest the county senior football final for 2009 after respective wins this afternoon.

Kilmurray defeated Doonbeg by a single point this evening in Cooraclare after an epic contest ended 11 points to 1-7.

Kilmurray led at half time by 6 points to 5 but were rocked inside the opening 2 minutes of the second period when Shane Kileen goaled for the Magpies and  David Tubridy put Doonbeg 4 points clear midway through the 2nd half.

However,5 points in the last 10 minutes without reply from the county champions sealed their place in the final.

In the other semi final it was another case of the winner emerging with a one point victory as St Senans Kilkee defeated Kilrush Shamrocks by1-8 to 1-7.
