Kilmaley Victorious In First Camogie Championship Action

Kilmaley were victorious in the first match of this year’s Clare Senior Camogie Championship.

Kilmaley beat Kilkishen/Bodyke 3-11 to 0-14.

Speaking afterwards, manager Danny Cabey praised his younger players, but also some experienced faces like Claire McMahon and Niamh O’Dea.

At 5:00, in Cratloe, Inagh-Kilnamona take on Truagh-Clonlara while at the same time in Clooney Quin, Sixmilebridge meet defending champions Scariff Ogonnelloe.

At 6:30 in Shannon, Newmarket on Fergus take on St. Joseph’s.

In the Intermediate Championship today, Feakle/Killanena play Eire Og and Clarecastle/Ballyea go up against Clooney Quin.

Last night, Whitegate defeated Tulla 2-13 to 0-8.
