Kilmaley have marched on to the Munster Intermediate Hurling Semi-Final after victory over Limerick’s Murroe/Boher in Ennis this afternoon.

Darragh Keane raised the green flag for the Clare side after only a minute, and Kilmaley brought a three-point lead into half time.

The second half was a much closer affair and an attempt at goal from Murroe/Boher’s Dylan O’Connor five yards out was stopped thanks to the defensive efforts of Eoin Enright and Brian O’Loughlin.

The sides couldn’t be separated before the final whistle and finished regular time 1-13 to 0-16.

Extra time was equally as tight, and it took Mikey O’Malley’s last-second point to give Kilmaley the win.

That game finished up Kilmaley 1-20, Murroe/Boher 0-22.
