Former Clare intercounty star David Russell feels his Kilkee side has a fighting chance in their first championship clash of the year.
They’re up against last year’s quarter finalists Clondegad in the opening round of the Senior Football Championship this afternoon.
The two sides will travel to Cooraclare for the 3 o’clock throw in.
