There was disappointment for Clare’s Oscar Traynor side over the weekend after they drew with Galway in their bid for the cup in Doora.
Goals by Conor Mullen, Derek Fahy and Kieran Hackett in the second half were almost enough to get the Clare men the result they needed, but a last minute goal by Galway in the 95th minute lead the sides to a draw.
Limerick need to beat Galway by at least 2 goals next week to keep Shane Keegan’s side in the race.
