Junior Handball Titles For Couglan and Millane

Clare are already celebrating at the All-Ireland Handball Finals weekend in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan with two titles already this morning.

Fergal Coughlan Junior and Caitriona Millane have made it a double for the Banner county with success in their respective junior finals.

Clooney’s Fergal Coughlan Junior went to a tie break this morning before beating Antrim’s Jordan O’Neill 21-18, 15-21, 21-15 to win the All-Ireland Men’s Junior title.

And Broadford’s Caitriona Millane was in dominant form beating Galway’s Eimear Ni Bhiadha in straight sets to secure the All-Ireland Ladies Junior Crown.

Colin Corbett is also in action this morning as he takes on Mayo’s Ian McLoughlin in the intermediate singles final.

And the evening session at 4.30 sees Mark Rodgers face Monaghan’s Eoghan McGinnity in the minor decider. Before Diarmaid Nash meets Westmeath’s Robbie McCarthy in the All-Ireland Senior Singles Showpiece.
