A Clare All Ireland winner says while this weekend’s Wexford game is anticipated, it’s not to be over-hyped.
Jamesie O’Connor is speaking ahead of Clare’s trip to visit the Wexford on Sunday in the second round of the Allianz National Hurling league.
Of course, there’s an interesting slant to that one in recent years as Wexford have been managed by Clare hurling legend Davy Fitzgerald since 2016.
It’s one of the tougher of Clare’s league campaigns as they also face Kilkenny on the road next month, however, Jamesie says Clare’s main focus for this League will be finding depth in their panel ahead of the Championship.
