Legendary Irish golfer Des Smyth thinks the hype surrounding the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open’s arrival to Clare is justified.
The European Tour event arrives to Lahinch in July and will bring massive crowds to the county and surrounding areas.
With the Open Championship taking place two weeks later in Royal Portrush, many of golf’s top names including Padraig Harrington, Tommy Fleetwood and Graeme McDowell will participate.
