Injury worries for Clare Hurling side ahead of Waterford Clash

The Clare Senior Hurling squad have a number of injury worries ahead of their Munster championship opener with Waterford in Thurles next month.

James McInerney has been ruled out of action for the next 8-10 weeks  with a groin injury while Gerry Quinn is in a race against time to recover from the hamstring injury he picked up against Wexford in the league final.

Diarmuid McMahon and Brian O’Connell also have slight knocks but should be fit to line out against Davy Fitzgerald’s side next month.
