Hurlers Repaid Lohan’s Vote Of Confidence In Wexford – Guilfoyle

A former Clare Captain says the county’s hurlers have repaid a ‘vote of confidence’ handed to them by Brian Lohan.

Tommy Guilfoyle is speaking after Clare retained their unbeaten streak in the Allianz National Hurling League when they traveled to take on Davy Fitzgerald’s Wexford on Sunday.

Clare took a commanding half-time lead, which Wexford managed to pull back with the aid of a strong breeze in the second half – but the Banners hurlers never lost the lead and took a 0-18 to 0-15 win.
