Huge Excitement Ahead Of Flannans Harty Final

It’s claimed there’s huge excitement in Clare’s largest secondary school ahead of their long-awaited return to a Harty Cup final tomorrow.

St Flannans College of Ennis will make the trip to Mallow tomorrow to take on CBC Cork in the competition’s decider as they hope to extend their unmatched historic success in the competition.

They lead the way with 21 wins throughout the years and face an opposition that have never won the Cup – but who are tipped to do well and beat reigning Champs Midleton in the semi-finals.

Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s final, Flannans Principal Fr Ignatious McCormack says the whole school is delighted to be back in contention:

Throw-in in Mallow is at 1 o’clock tomorrow and we’ll have live commentary here on Clare FM, in association with Limerick Institute of Technology.
