Clare athlete Sean Hehir feels previous experience of running in the London Marathon helped him become the first Irish man home in the 2017 event.
The Kilkishen man ran a personal best time of 2 hours 16 minutes and 18 seconds, which is likely to see him named part of the Irish squad later this week for the World Championships in August.
Hehir is hopeful there is plenty more to come for him this year
