Clooney B Start Div 2 in Style

There was some great action in the first round of the Clare 40 X 20 Division 2 Leagues on Wednesday September 25th. The pick of the ties was the battle of Clooney A versus Clooney B. Clooney A featured Pa Clune, Ryan O’Neill, Conor Clune and Darren O’Neill. Clooney B featured Cian Keogh, Dara Keogh, Paschal Brooks and Kevin O’Brien.

The addition, this year, of the Keogh brothers has really boosted the Clooney B side. In the end it was the youthful pair who led Clooney B to victory on an overall score of 76-67. In Tuamgraney it was the home team who took the spoils against Newmarket on Fergus and the third tie between Kilishen and Clarecastle has been refixed for Monday September 30.
