Former Clare captain Tommy Guilfoyle feels stopping Austin Gleeson’s influence will be crucial if Clare are to overturn Waterford this weekend in the National Hurling League.

The sides meet in a repeat of last years final, with the winners set for a place in the last eight and the losers facing a relegation playoff against either Dublin or Kilkenny.

Donal Moloney & Gerry O’Connor won’t name their team for the game until after tomorrow evenings U21 semi finals, with the likes of Ian Galvin, David Fitzgerald and Jason McCarthy all set to be in action for their clubs.
