Guilfoyle Feels Clare Hurlers Face Challenge In Establishing Themselves In 2018

A former Clare hurling captain feels the current squad face a huge challenge to establish themselves as contenders in the coming season.

Since winning the All Ireland in 2013, Clare haven’t been back to Croke Park and only recorded championship victories over Laois, Limerick and Offaly in that time.

This year saw the Banner beaten in the All Ireland Quarter Final for the second successive season, but did yield a first Munster Final appearance since 2008.
