Three Clare players are well placed after the Qualifying stages of the Irish Women’s Close Championship.
Sarah Cunningham of Ennis finished in joint-second after 36 holes in Mullingar, while Sinead Sexton of Lahinch and Lisa O’Shea of Shannon also qualified comfortably for the knockout stages which begin this morning.
A winner will be crowned on Sunday.
