Clare’s ladies football goalkeeper has been praised by a former Banner player ahead of their All Ireland Intermediate Championship semi final this weekend.

Kilmihil’s Michaela Glynn has caught the eye so far in this campaign between the sticks, and will wear the number one jersey once more against Meath on Saturday.

James Murrihy’s side take to the field on the back of 2 wins out of 3 in the group stages, knowing a date in Croke Park with either Roscommon or Westmeath is on offer should they progress.

Cooraclare goalkeeper Anne Marie Callinan has high compliments for her Kilmihil counterpart – and says management will be looking to tighten up their defence ahead of the game.

That one throws in at 1.30 on Saturday at MW Hire O Moore Park in Portlaoise, and Clare FM’s full live coverage of the game is with Jones’ Supervalu, Milltown Malbay.
