It’s claimed Clare’s National Football League defeat in the opening round is not cause for concern.
Colm Collins’ side prepare to host Kildare in Cusack Park this Sunday in the second round of the league, after a narrow defeat to Westmeath in Mullingar last time out.
Their match was effectively lost in the first half when a 27-minute scoreless streak allowed the homeside get ahead on the day.
