Galvin Praises Clare Team-Mates After Historic Success

The man of the match of Clare's Under-21 Hurling Final victory has paid tributes to his team-mates.

Clonlara's Colm Galvin picked up the honour after the full-time whistle at Cusack Park last night, but was quick to play up the role of his fellow Banner players.

They've now captured the Under-21 title in three successive years, while for some players it's a fifth provincial title in as many years as they also picked up minor titles in 2010 and 2011.

Last night's win was the first time that Clare have beaten Cork in a provincial decider at any grade since 1932, and the Banner now take on Antrim in the All Ireland semi-final on August 23rd.
