Wexford’s victory over Meath in the Leinster Ladies Football Final wasn’t a suprise says Clare’s captain.

The Royals ended the Banner’s championship last year but couldn’t find a way past their provincial rivals two weeks ago.

Wexford arrive in Doonbeg on Sunday in the first round of the All-Ireland intermediate qualifiers with the winners likely to advance to the quarter-finals.
