Clare’s ladies football manager thinks his players should now have the confidence to take down big teams despite exiting the All-Ireland championship.

Four late Tipperary points secured Sunday’s quarter-final as the Banner fell at the quarter-final stage for a third consecutive year.

It was a massive effort against the title favourites who’d won their previous encounter in the Munster Final by 13 points.
