Kingdom Reign Over Dublin In National Football League Final

Kerry have been crowned Allianz Football League champions after a hugely impressive victory over Dublin in today’s DIvision 1 decider in Croke Park.

The Kingdom trailed by a point at the break but pulled clear in the 2nd half, leading by 5 points at one stage before Dublin’s Paul Mannion found the back of the net.

There was just a point between the sides in the 74th minute when Dean Rock’s lengthy free-in came up just short, handing Kerry the win by 0-20 to 1-16.

It’s their first league title since 2009, while Dublin have fallen to their first league or championship defeat in 36 games.
