A senior member of the Clare Senior Hurling Panel has spoken of the competitive edge amongst members of the squad in the early part of their preseason preparations.

The beginning of the Brian Lohan era has brought a fresh feel about the team, and also means that players have a new management team to impress.

That applies to new or returning members to the squad, as well as those who’ve been there for a number of years, including Ballyea’s Tony Kelly.
