Clare’s minors also take on Waterford this Sunday, and ahead of that game, the Banner’s manager has said they’re looking for results AND to develop the county’s best young talent.
Clare recorded only one victory in last year’s Minor Championship pool stage, but still performed admirably when coming up just short in some of those defeats.
Their one win did come against Waterford, but as the two counties prepare to go head-to-head this weekend, boss Fergal Lynch says it’s not just about getting the win.
He’s hoping that the squad’s work will feed into the Clare senior squad in years to come
