Lynch Expects Tough Test From Tribesmen

The manager of Clare’s minor hurlers says their focus will be on securing victory against Galway tomorrow, rather than chasing the margin of victory that will send them into an All-Ireland semi-final.

Clare need to defeat their neighbours by at least six points in Portlaoise tomorrow to set up a trip to Croke Park, and keep their All-Ireland hopes alive.

The two sides have played two challenge matches against each other this year, the most recent of those coming around ten weeks ago when Clare came out on top.

However, Clare boss Fergal Lynch admits that counts for nothing this weekend, and he’s expecting a tough game.

Throw in at O’Moore Park, Portlaoise on Saturday is at 3 o’clock and we’ll have full live coverage here on Clare FM, in association with Blossoms on the Go Garden Centre, Center point, Hermitage, Ennis.
