Clare suffered defeat in the Munster Minor Hurling Final but their championship ambitions remain intact.
The Banner will face Kilkenny next week and also Galway in July as they seek a place in the All-Ireland semi-finals.
Despite a Shane Meehan goal on 46 minutes, Clare just couldn’t get on terms with Limerick at the LIT Gaelic Grounds.
