Rian Considine gave Cratloe a first minute goal but the victors edged ahead 0-11 to 1-6 at half-time.
And David Mescall’s 39th minute goal was instrumental in holding off a late fightback as Cratloe prepare for Round three action in a fortnight.

The Blues went down 1-16 to 0-7 to Sixmilebridge. While Killanena prevailed over the Ennis outfit by 3-17 to 2-10.
