First half goals from Danny Russell and Darren O’Brien allowed the Ennis side a narrow interval lead before emerging 2-13 to 1-14 victors over Newmarket-on-Fergus in Cusack Park.

Shane O’Donnell struck a vital late point to get them over the line.
