Defeat For Clare Hurlers In Lohan’s First Outing As Manager

Clare have suffered defeat in Brian Lohan’s first game in charge of the senior hurlers.

The Banner went down 4-16 to 0-21 to Galway in a challenge match in Ballinderreen.

Two Sean Bleahene goals and strikes from Tadhg Haran and Brian Concannon secured the Tribesmen the match winning advantage.

Niall Deasy, Oisin Donnellan, Ryan Taylor, Gary Cooney, Aron Shanagher, Colin Guilfoyle and David Reidy were on target for the Banner.
