Clooney/Quin’s underage coaching structure has been praised by their under 15 hurling manager after they were crowned county ‘A’ champions.
Goals from Dannan Fox and Lorcan O’Connor were instrumental in dethroning St. Joseph’s Doora/Barefield in Cusack Park yesterday evening.
The 2-15 to 1-13 victory was their first title at this age level since the 2008 ‘B’ win which included future All-Star Peter Duggan.
