A Corofin/Ruan mentor thinks their ability to adapt to the environment set them up for minor hurling championship success.

The amalgamation were crowned A champions for the first time yesterday as they beat Clarecastle by 1-21 to 2-9.

After shutting out some early opposing attacks, points for Shane Punch and Cillian McGroary kicked off an 11-point scoring spree.
