Competitive Format Enhances Clare Championship – Crowe

Sixmilebridge’s hurling manager has given the current senior championship format the thumbs up as they prepare to face Ballyea.

It’s the stand out tie of Round 2 which also sees eight clubs battle for survival tomorrow.

The opening day saw two contests go to extra-time as Ballyea and Éire Óg came through exciting matches with Clooney/Quin and Kilmaley respectively.

Tim Crowe says teams are only allowed one off day in a fiercely competitive environment.

Throw-in at Cusack Park tomorrow is 6.15pm and we’ll have live coverage here on Clare FM in association with Blossoms on the Go, Centre Point, Hermitage, Ennis – the garden specialists this summer.
