Clare 2-23 Cork 2-18 – The Senior Hurling Match Commentary

Clare are out of the All-Ireland championship despite a spirited victory over Cork today.

It finished in Cusack Park – Clare 2-23 Cork 2-18 but Tipperary’s win over Limerick put the Banner out.

Goals from Shane O’Donnell and Tony Kelly gave the Banner the perfect start as they built a five-point interval lead.


And despite two Patrick Horgan allowing Cork get back to within a point at one stage, scores from Peter Duggan, Diarmuid Ryan, Colm Galvin and two late Cathal McInerney scores ensured Clare’s win.
