Two Banner teams will go head-to-head today in Hurling’s Celtic Challenge.

The Clare Blues take on the Clare Saffrons in the William Robinson Cup quarter-final.

Throw-in at Caherlohan is 1pm.

There are eight games today in the Clare Cup.

Kilmaley are looking to go top of Division 1A when they travel to Newmarket-on-Fergus at 4pm.

Clonlara will join them if they overcome Inagh/Kilnamona at 6pm while Clooney/Quin host Cratloe at 7.30pm.

In Division 1B, Ballyea will be within touching distance of the quarter-finals if they get the better of Whitegate at 7.30pm. At the same time, Éire Óg entertain Smith O’Brien’s.

The action gets underway at 4.30pm as Scariff face Tubber; St. Joseph’s Doora/Barefield take on O’Callaghan’s Mills at 5.15pm; while Clarecastle travel to Broadford at 7pm.

In Division Four, the semi-finals take place today.

Inagh/Kilnamona and Crusheen are just getting underway in Corofin.

At 3pm, O’Callaghan’s Mills take on Ennistymon in Clareabbey

And Clooney/Quin are through to the Clare Marts under 14 A Championship Final.

They beat Éire Óg 4-15 to 4-7 yesterday evening in Ballyea.

Kilmaley or St. Joseph’s Doora/Barefield will meet on Tuesday to decide their opponents.
