Ballyea’s top scorer feels the belief in their team got them over the line against Clooney/Quin in the senior hurling championship.

The title holders were 3-23 to 2-19 victors after extra-time having come from seven behind during the second half.

It guarantees them two more games and they’ll face another victorious team in the second round in two weeks.

Niall Deasy, who hit 1-14, tells Clare FM’s Derek Dormer the added 20 minutes did take its toll on both sides.
