Senior Football Final Finishes All Square

The county senior football final will need a second day to be sorted after the sides finished all square in Cusack Park.

It finished St. Joseph’s Miltown Malbay 0-9 Kilmurry/Ibrickane 0-9 in a contest that was level six times.

Kilmurry/Ibrickane enjoyed the better start going 0-4 to 0-1 ahead as Keelan Sexton and Michael Hogan hit the target.

But points for Kieran Malone, Eoin Cleary and Seanie Malone levelled affairs by half-time.

The second half scoring was tit-for-tat as everytime Miltown Malbay got the lead, Kilmurry/Ibrickane restored parity.

And in the third minute of added time, Kilmurry/Ibrickane’s keeper Ian McInerney stepped up to nail the final score ensuring these neighbours will clash again.
