Kilrush Shamrocks are aiming to use their 16-point loss to defending senior football champions St. Joseph’s Miltown Malbay as a lesson learned.
Last year’s intermediate winners face Kilmihil on Saturday with a quarter-final place up for grabs.
Kilrush marked their top flight arrival with victory over Naomh Eoin/O’Curry’s but were given plenty to consider the second day out.
