Limerick Game Postponed As Under 20s Look Towards Munster

Last night’s scheduled under 20 football encounter between Clare and Limerick in the Liam O’Connor Cup has been postponed until next Wednesday.

Seamus Clancy’s side have two games remaining and also meet Wicklow in Aughrim this Saturday.

Both matches will be used to prepare for the upcoming Munster championship as two previous defeats ended the Banner’s hopes of winning this tournament.

That honour went to Offaly who beat Westmeath 1-15 to 0-14 yesterday evening.
