Garry Cup and Junior Hurling Today’s Local Highlights

The pairing for the Garry Cup Final will be known this evening.

Doonbeg host their semi-final with St. Joseph’s Doora/Barefield at 6pm with the winners advancing to next week’s final against Kildysart.



There’s also a semi-final in the Football League Division 3. Naomh Eoin entertain Kilrush Shamrocks at 7pm.


There’s four games in the County Junior A Hurling Championship today.

In Group 1, Clooney/Quin and Ballyea commence proceedings in Éire Óg at 4pm. That game will be followed by the meeting of O’Callaghan’s Mills and Ennistymon in Gurteen at 5.30pm.

Group 2 hosts two games at 7.30pm. Broadford face Inagh/Kilnamona in Tulla, and Ogonnelloe go head-to-head with Kilmaley in Kilkishen.


In last night’s action, Clonlara ran out 1-17 to 0-7 winners over Crusheen in Group 1.

And in Group 2, Wolfe Tones prevailed by 2-13 to 1-12 against Meelick.


And in the Junior B championship, they couldn’t be seperated in Bodyke. It finished, Clooney/Quin 4-9 Whitegate 1-18.
