Éire Óg’s football manager thinks Cratloe’s opening win highlights the importance of a good start in the senior championship.

The Ennis outfit make their bow this year against Colm Collins’ charges who were 11-point winners over Clondegad.

It’s the teams first meeting since 2017 when Éire Óg lost by 15 points in the second round.

Paul Madden says Cratloe’s first round result highlights how dangerous they can be.

Throw-in at Cusack Park on Sunday is 1.30pm and we’ll have live coverage here on Clare FM, in association with Dulick Motors Gort Road, Ennis.
