Three goals gave Cork a 3-9 to 0-14 victory over Clare in the Munster Minor Football Championship at Cusack Park and left the Banner fighting for their championship lives.
Dermot Coughlan’s team must beat Kerry next week to qualify for a third consecutive provincial final.
Despite a respectful total of 14 points, Clare just couldn’t manage that critical goal to give themselves a first win over Cork in 14 years.
