A Clare senior football selector hopes their home advantage in tomorrow’s Munster quarter-final will be instrumental in getting past Waterford.

The Banner are raging hot favourites but needed a replay to succeed in the two counties’ last championship meeting in 2014.

Since then, Clare have established themselves as a Division Two side but Benji Whelan’s charges will be brimming with confidence following three wins in the fourth tier.
