Clare Footballers Heading To Carrick-On-Shannon

Clare have been drawn to face Leitrim in Round Two of the All-Ireland Football Qualifiers.

Despite the Banner being pulled out of the bowl first, the game will be played in Carrick-on-Shannon as their league division four opponents are guaranteed home advantage.

It’s a first ever championship meeting between the teams but the sides finished all square in their last league clash in 2014.

Among the other games, the stand out ties are Mayo heading to face Down, and Monaghan welcoming Armagh.

The other ties are Westmeath meet Limerick, Longford host Tyrone, Antrim entertain Kildare, Laois travel to Derry, and Sligo visit Offaly.
