Clare’s minor football manager insists their multiple changes were necessary ahead of this evening’s trip to Waterford in the Munster championship.
The Banner have made eight changes from the victory over Tipperary as they prepare for the Phase 1 Final in two weeks.
Pat Doherty is injured, while Brendan Rouine and Diarmuid Fahy, who are carrying knocks, are rested for the trip to the South East.
