The Clare senior hurlers will be in action later in the 2017 AIG Fenway Hurling Classic.
The Banner are taking part in the modified 11 a side game for the first time following its debut last year at the famous Boston Venue.
The game against Tipperary will be played on a reduced sized pitch with only goals on offer and modified rules.

Joint manager Donal Moloney says they’re looking forward to being part of a unique occasion.
That game starts at 6.30pm Irish time this evening with Galway and Dublin meeting in the other semi final from 5.30pm.
The final will be played at 8pm.
