Clare Hurlers Without Peter Duggan For 2020 Season

All Star Peter Duggan’s being commended for his contribution to the Clare Senior Hurling Panel.

The Clooney-Quin clubman has announced he’ll be travelling to Australia in November for a year and will miss next year’s championship as a result.

He’s hoping to gain experience , which will help him to establish a landscaping business in Clare when he returns.

Duggan, who was first called up by Davy Fitzgerald in 2012, was part of the All-Ireland winning side of 2013 and won an All Star in 2018.

Clare FM analyst Tommy Guilfoyle says he’ll be a big loss to the team, but he hopes he’ll return with renewed vigour.
