Clare forward Eoin Cleary says their aim is to reach the Super 8s stage of the All Ireland Football Championship.
Like their hurling counterparts, the Banner’s footballers begin their Championship campaign this weekend, taking on Waterford at Cusack Park on Saturday evening.
They go into the game on the back of what the St. Joseph’s Miltown admits was a mixed League, albeit one that finished on a high when victory over Tipperary cemented Clare’s Division 2 status.
