A Clare senior camogie attacker thinks their ability to squeeze out a first win in the championship could be a boost for the team’s development.

With the momentum against them, two late scores ensured the Banner beat Meath by one point in Navan.

Clare must still win two more Group 2 games to stake a place in the quarter-finals but Saturday’s result was a relief for Ger O’Connell’s charges.

Truagh/Clonlara’s Eimear Kelly says they used to let this games slip in the past.
